A bank transaction is missing
Owner or admin
Why a transaction you can see at your bank has not shown up in Todah yet, and how to get it in.
Work through these in order.
- Check the filters. In Transactions, set Statement to All statements and Show to All, and clear any search or date range. The line may simply be matched, reconciled or ignored already.
- Is it still pending at your bank? Bank feeds only bring in transactions once they have posted. Card purchases usually post within a day or two.
- Is the account switched on? In the Bank Feeds card, open the bank's account list and make sure the account is ticked.
- Has the bank been checked since? Look at "Last checked" on the bank's row. Choose Check Now to check straight away.
- Does the bank say Sign-In Needed or Needs Attention? Choose Sign In to Bank Again.
- Did you delete it? A feed line you deleted is never brought in again. Add it with Add Manually if you need it back.
- For an imported statement: did the file cover that date? Did the line have an amount or a description? Rows with neither are left out. Was it skipped as already in Todah? The import message says how many were skipped.
If it still is not there, add it with Add Manually in the Import Bank Statement card.
Lines that disappear
When a bank withdraws a transaction (for example a charge that was reversed), the feed removes it from Todah too, but only if nobody had matched, ignored or reconciled it. Lines you have worked on are never removed by the feed.
