Your clients' books, without the per-client bill
Todah is bookkeeping and invoicing software built in Canada for small businesses. If you keep books for them, we would rather work with you than around you.
The offer
- Your own practice runs on Business, free. Sign up, then tell us you are a bookkeeper; we switch your workspace to Business at no charge.
- A free seat in every client's workspace. Your client adds you from Team › Add Person; tell us and we mark you as their bookkeeper, so you never use up one of their seats, even on the Free plan.
- No contract and nothing to resell. Your clients choose their own plan; Free stays free.
What you get in each client's books
- The GST/HST return laid out by CRA line (101, 103, 106, 109) and a breakdown by rate, on Business and Enterprise; a sales-tax summary on Free.
- Profit and loss, balance sheet, trial balance, cash flow and ageing, with an Excel export of the full report pack on Business.
- Bank statement import on every plan, bank feeds on Business, and matching that settles one bank line against several invoices or bills.
- An audit log of every change anyone makes, and a CSV export of every record, any time.
- Receipts and bills read from a photo, so your client can hand you the shoebox digitally.
Good to know
- Each client invites you separately, and each sign-in is one email address. Many bookkeepers use one address per client (for example you+clientname@yourfirm.ca). One sign-in across all your clients is not built yet.
- You see what the client's role for you allows: an admin sees banking, team and settings; a member does the day-to-day work.
- Your clients' data is stored in Canada, and nobody at Todah opens a workspace except to help when asked, which is recorded in that workspace's audit log.
