Payment reminders and the schedule

How the reminder ladder works and where it is set.

Once client emails are on, an unpaid invoice is chased on a ladder: light (7 and 30 days after due), standard (1, 7, 14, 30) or firm (1, 3, 7, 10, 14, 21, 30). A note before the due date is optional. Reminders stop the moment the invoice is paid.

  1. Settings → Notifications → Schedule: time zone, the hour reminders go, the ladder, and the before-due note.
  2. Every reminder goes from your sending address with the invoice PDF attached, and shows the Pay button when card payment is on.
