What happens when you hit a Free limit
What Free limits, what you see when you reach one, when the monthly counts reset, and your choices.
Free has no limit on invoices, quotes, clients or products. It does limit a few things that cost Todah money to run. When you reach one, Todah stops that one action and tells you; nothing else stops working and nothing is deleted.
| Team members | Up to 3 people, the owner included. A bookkeeper seat that Todah support has marked does not count. |
|---|---|
| Receipt or bill scans | 10 a month. |
| Bank-statement imports | 5 a month (each CSV, PDF or photo you import counts once). |
| Storage | 1 GB of attachments and scans. |
| Bank feeds | Not on Free. Connecting a bank needs Business or Enterprise. |
What you see
A red message such as "Your plan allows" followed by the limit and "Upgrade your plan to raise this limit." appears, with See plans (which opens Settings → Plan & Billing) and What each plan includes (which opens this Help centre).
For a feature that is not on your plan, the message names the plans that have it, for example "Recurring invoices is part of Business and Enterprise. Upgrade under Settings → Plan & Billing."
When the counts start again
Scans and statement imports are counted per calendar month and start again from zero on the first day of each month. Team members and storage are not monthly: they are what you have right now.
Your choices
- Wait for the new month (scans and imports).
- Free up room: remove someone from Team, or delete files you no longer need.
- Add a bank statement line by hand instead of importing, or enter a bill by hand instead of scanning it.
- Upgrade to Business ($9 a month), which removes these limits.
See how close you are
- In the menu on the left, choose Settings, then the Plan & Billing tab.
- The Plan & Usage card lists each limit with what you have used and a bar that turns red when it is reached.
