Connect Claude or another AI app
Let an AI assistant read your books and, if you allow it, draft invoices, quotes and bills. Free on every plan.
- Settings → Connected Apps → copy the Todah MCP server address.
- In Claude: Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector. Name it Todah, paste the address and choose Connect. Other AI apps that support remote MCP servers work the same way.
- Sign in to Todah. The next page names the app and the workspace and lists what it will and will not be able to do. Untick Also let it make changes if it should only read.
- Choose Allow. Ask it things like "which invoices are overdue?" or "draft an invoice to Acme for two hours at $120 plus GST".
The app acts as you, with your role. With changes allowed it can create and edit clients, vendors, products, draft invoices, quotes and bills, record a payment you received, and email an invoice or quote to a client. It must ask you before any email.
It can never see bank transactions or bank connections, delete anything, issue refunds, take or move money, or change your plan, team, settings or sign-in.
What the app reads goes to that app's provider, which may process it outside Canada under its own terms. Disconnect an app at any time in Settings → Connected Apps; it loses access at once.
